Corrupt SD cards

Posted on May 7th, 2012 Written on eduzer's blog

Tapeless video is great and has many benefits, until some sort of error causes the card to become corrupt and you can't access your footage/photos.  There are a number of things that can go wrong with your media storage, and I found one of them while traveling in China last fall.  I just wanted to share some of my experience of recovering files so you can avoid it in the future save some money and save some time if you find yourself in a similar situation... I hate to keep looking backward in these bloggish essays. But until this undulating personal history morphs into starting-blocks for an effective sprint into the next level of competence, well, it looks like I'm stuck with it. I was out shooting video for a course exercise and practicing the five shot rule in one of the videos and notice why it suggests only indoor locations… yeah the wind is not so good for audio. Well that’s why I was practicing

Troubles and Triumphs

Frustrating times continue.  Just wrote a blog and then submitted it but it was deleted and I have to restart.  Anyways I have had challenges uploading my coursework and now my blog onto the website.  Also I got a phone call from the Frist Center about a film workshop I wanted to attend this weekend.  The workshop was cancelled!  But nevertheless I will persevere.  My blog will post, my video after the fourth try uploaded and hopefully a new workshop in film will open up at the Frist Center.
