Here is a video, shot today in Cairo, and posted on Bryce.vc
Now, here is what is interesting (as Bryce notes).
Take a look at the video.
First, I don't know about you, but I have not seen much like this on the nightly news in the US. The networks seem to be downplaying this whole thing.
If you look carefully at the vidoe, particularly at the end, you will see the vast number of cell phones with in the crowd - all of whom, we can assume, are shooting video.
What the networks will not cover it seems, the people will.
In 1979 when the Shah of Iran was overthrown, Ayatollah Khomeni was instrumental in using then new technologies - fax machines and audio cassettes, to drive his popular revolution.
Today, the technology is much better and much more powerful
This is video meets social networking and we're all going to get to watch how this plays out.
My guess is that while video on NBC news might follow the events, video on iPhones is more likely to lead them.
