Charlie Brooker on The Power of Editing & Reality TV

Yesterday we ran a clip from Glen Beck's new website pointing out how judicious editing had skewed a story about NPR's funding scandal.
In response, cdnmint, an nyvs member posted a link to a Charlie Brooker video on how editing can skew a 'reality' show.
Charlie Brooker is a columnist for The Guardian, where we are running The Guardian Media Academy, (shameless plug here).
We can't guarantee that Charlie will make an appearance at The Guardian Media Academy in July, but you might run into him in the hall....
In any event, Charlie does a great job here of showing how editing can be used to manipulate reality shows. In this case, it's play on Big Brother which is big in the UK. Don't ask me why.
In any event, my advice here is Learn Video Editing.
