How To Make A Music Video (and a Travel Video)

it's all about the characters

One of the things that really annoyed me about journalism school was that the faculty was made up of people who had all retired from the real world.

Our instructors, whether here online at NYVS or in the bootcamps are all real working videojournalists.

If you've been here for a while, you're probably familiar with Francisco Aliwalas. He did the 'How To Make A Music Video" series and a few others.

Remarkably talented.

We'd like him to make more, but we can barely keep up with him.

Recently, he was in Brazil for The Travel Channel.

This is an out-take from Dance The World, a series being produced by Zeropointzero, the same folks who do Anthony Bourdain.

(Chris and Lydia, who own Zeropointzero both started out (and met and married) at NY Times TV, an earlier iteration.)
