So here's another instance where I want to watch a video - of Francisco at work! Maybe Francisco can start to video his video shoots - he'd have an avid audience here at nyvs :)

Here's your answer from Francisco: Hi Michael. In response to more info re that music vid shoot: We rented a Panther Car Mount which are the 3 arms and suction mounts on the door. The camera rested on a fluid head. My Gaffer added extra support on the top half of the camera. More suctions and arms which connected to the hot shoe mount on top of the Canon 5D. For lighting, I mounted two flat LED lights (battery powered), with diffusion gels, on the cab partitions. Aimed them at the performer, using the dimmer to adjust the luminosity. If the LEDs are too bright, you end up closing the iris thus losing all the (free) lighting in the background. To me, the background is just as special as the subject. Look at the frame as a vast canvas. Then I rolled the window up, didn't over indulge on the Windex so that the lights of Times Square created nice, gritty reflections on her face. Here's a freeze frame I tweaked in post. This is a noir-ish veneer but you can play with the mood
