Beats living in Brooklyn!

Anyone who knows us knows that Lisa and I have been commuting to Nashville on a regular basis.

We expect to be doing this for a while.

We're starting an extremely interesting project here with enormous potential and we're really excited.

Maybe the most exciting project we have ever worked on!

We're going to start staffing it out and today we're looking for our first full-time hire.

Since it's such a totally new concept, even our job descriptions are going to require some invention.

Let's call this one a Web Futurist!

Applicants should have these qualities:
Thoughtful design ability that questions the state of current web design and helps others rethink the function of the web.
The ability to recognize and utilize future trends in web communication and richly communicate their importance.
In-depth understanding of many web languages and the ability to implement high functioning/large content sites.
Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
Impeccable work ethic and ability to manage your own workload effectively.
Lightning fast turnaround between concept and beta.
Ability to iterate quickly.
A personal lifelong passion for tinkering and hacking.
The ability to not only keep up but lead in a team of fast-paced, agile and forward thinking creatives.

Requirements:
Expert with HTML5, JavaScript and CSS.
Experience working with HTML5 in high-performance environments.
Demonstrated experience writing fast and secure HTML5 consumer applications.
Strong knowledge of HTML5 interacting with JavaScript and APIs.

Bonus Points:
Experience building apps for iOS (Objective-C), Android, or other mobile device.
Ability to build and maintain infrastructure components.
Knowledge of databases and SQL.
Hands-on experience building reliable web-scale infrastructure.
