Yesterday we talked about SONY's release of OLED, or Organic Light Emitting Diode technology.
Basically this is the technology that makes it possible to create cheap, thin, flexible films that can be used to show video.
Above is a video by photographer Alexx Henry
Henry is a still photographer who is making the transition to video, but instead of producing TV shows, he's creating content for the brand new world of OLED. Â
In the video he uses a RED camera.
These are lovely, though extremely expensive digital video cameras that can take lenses that cost, as his assistant notes, more than my car.
But OLED is good for everyone who makes video, and if you stop for a moment and think about what OLED could mean, it would mean the Harry Potterization (so to speak) of everything that is now print.

All will be video
and much more
And this is an industry that started, quite literally, yesterday, so it's wide open.
Move!
