I have the same camera as you are using here - Can you just clarify, that the gain is controlled on the via the small gain metal tab with HM and L settings. Whilst I can get the 0dB to show on my screen I cannot figure out how to raise or lower it and the swtich does nothing, which leads me to believe it may be malfunctioning?
