Going to a specialty camera store and speaking to the people who work there, such as at B & H Photo here in NYC, is a good way to gather camera details that matter to you such as screen size/camera weight etc. Recently on the NYVS facebook page, http://www.nyvs.com/courses/view/DSLR-Video-Camera-Basics there was a great discussion going under the sample clip of the DSLR camera course. It's always interesting to hear from people who own specific cameras why they like/dislike using them.
