Michael states at the beginning of the Storytelling II course to forget script writing, yet as he progresses to the end it appears that he is advocating script writing as part of the planning process for video storytelling!
By no script, I mean no written script. I am trying to move from the written to script to a more oral storytelling process. If you lay out the visuals of the story, and then 'let the story go where it wants to go' in the end you can simply watch the visual story go by and, while watching it, 'tell' the story. Storytelling is far older by a few hundred thousand years, than written scripts, and works better for us as well.
