OK. I've got it. I don't know where that Deer thing came from, but I found the storyboard. You certainly don't need my approval to go from here to video, but I am happy to comment at this juncture. First, you draw great! OK. I think that, from looking at the story board, you should move the first two panels to the end, or maybe drop them entirely. Start with the guy. He's the 'star' of you movie anyway and people are much more engaging that signs and exteriors. Start with the guy and the average person looks at that and says 'who is he and what is this all about'. You've made your first connection. Then, a bit of narration that introduces him and says 'this is Tom and he has a serious problem' and you are off to your 'arc of story'. I think this will grab and hold the viewer better. The sign can come at the end, as a kind of pay- off.

no, the exercise you asked us to do was to create a storyboard of shots. then further in this lesson comes another exercise that you requested us to get the shots of the storyboard. but the way i was understanding it was you needed to approve it first? here's the link again to the storyboard assignment: http://www.nyvs.com/user/tholmes14/watch/video/storyboard

OK. I just want to make sure we are both on the same page here. This is the 2 minute pilot for the Deer In The Headlights tv show? Is that what you want me to critique? If so, is this something you are trying to market? Lemme know. Happy to comment. Best. m
