When I did my first project "The Making of an Artist", I ended up with 57 minutes of raw footage! And I did that thing that Michael said not to do, 'direct'. I was trying to direct the interviews and asking all kinds of questions that didn't have anything to do with the story. So, as a result of that, more than half my footage was a waste. Even worse still, I had to sift through it all, wasting my time again. I think I only ended up using only 8 or 9 seconds for the interview. Even though I was told to avoid it, somehow, in the excitement of it all, I fell into that trap anyway. I'll sure know better next time! Helpful Not Helpful
