i guess i m not expert in this field but what i thing establishing shot and restablishing shot in video journalism you can use reporter stand up and clossing comments other than that is not neccssary i agree with micheal.what is necessary is the abc of story telling

Remember that there's no exception to starting your piece with your best shot. Viewers have a really short attention span (really, really short for internet videos....). If that industrial exterior is your very best shot then start with it. Otherwise, if the exterior is of some significance, like equipment moving big products (beyond just an "establishing" shot), then you can come back to it later in your piece and make it part of your story. Or you can use a Close Up shot of a detail of the big equipment then cut to a wider shot. In any event the first shot should be your best. :)

shooting an exterior might be interesting if the location is industrial, big equipment moving big products, even if the main story takes place inside
