I would prefer if she were looking at the camera, which would mean she is looking at you, the viewer.

I had the same reaction as AlohaForex. Except for a brief glance at the camera, she spends most of the shot looking at someone (the interviewer?) off camera. Michael, can you clarify what she's doing and whether you consider this shot good or bad?

Sorry, but I kind of disagree with Michael about the interview. It looks like she is talking to the interviewer; I don't think she's really facing the camera. That said, I thought her comments added value to the film.

Yeah, I get why the notebook was a bad shot, but what if??? there was something in the notebook that tied it to what was being said in the VoiceOver? Specifically about the return of the investment that was made? Otherwise you're right, it was absolutely random and merely 'implied' that there was profit without being a concrete example. I wouldn't have caught how it didn't flow as if it were significant, if you didn't point it out. Imagine the ratio of bad shots per every 30 secs of video; it could get messy. Thanks for your insight.
