Thread : Best for the buck software

Posted on Sep 30, 2011 at 03:08 pm
I am trying to decide which is the best editing software for me. I have been trying the free trials of Adobe Premiere (expensive) and Sony Vegas movie maker. As well as windows live movie maker (not so good) and creative director pro. I don't have a Mac and unless I want to shell out 2k for a new one (and I don't) it wont be using Final Cut Pro. So here is my question, which one should I settle on? I have a few days left on the trials but the end is coming soon. Any ideas?

Thanks

Mike

Hi Mike, If budget is an issue, Sony Vegas HD Movie Studio Platinum 11 ($95) is a good, solid option (as opposed to Sony Vegas Pro 10 which is $600). Pinnacle Studio HD Ultimate 15 ($95) is also a good PC option that won't break the bank. Ultimately, you should choose the program that you like using the best, since so many are relatively the same. Hope this helps!
