Thread : FCP Clips and Audio Unlinking

For some reason whenever I drag a clip into the timeline, the audio and video automatically unlink. I have tried to decipher the manual and find an answer to this question but I cannot for the life of me figure out what is happening here. I tried shutting down FCP but whatever setting I accidentally hit, it's now happening all the time. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and how I can get my settings back to the defaulted setting where my audio and video clips stayed linked?
