I have been messing around with Adobe products for years, but until recently I decided to expand my knowledge in film editing. I have got the gist of premiere down and started editing some videos.
Now my Father-in-Law has a small video production out of the home business, and I have been asked to help out! The dilemma is well their is a few of them...
This is a like a self healing presentation:
1.) the video was shot straight on and the client wants a power point presentation superimposed on top of the footage. I can do that and add a opacity to it. but 85 stills come on it looks ridiculous but what he wants
2.)length of film is 1:45min and wants it clipped to 1:30 Client says keep the important stuff ,So far I found 7 min of rambling and interaction with audience, that he said could be removed.
Now I started to ruff cut it and messing with some different scenarios and I am not sure need some help and one got any suggestions I would appreciate it.
I did tried just using hard cuts on the footage and transitions only on the power points, picked like 4 different ones and flip flopped them per each still frame.
