Hi,

I will be purchasing a camera to record my son's marching band. This is something I will be doing for the next 3 years and want to gett a camera I can grow in to. I have a budget of about $1400. Because I will be sharing these videos with other parents should I go with a used Prosumer SD camera where I can get more for my money? Or purchase a new HD camera, I won't be able to afford as many features but have the latest technology. The choices are a bit overwhelming. I have a strong tecnical backrgound and am not intimidated by a complicated piece of hardware so I want something that I can really grow with.
