Thread : Question on Filimg and Editing... Please Help

Hello…. I am a little confused on how to shoot and edit a particular shot. I have been learning about the 5 point shoot and I wanted to use that in my upcoming shoot. I will be shooting a save the date wedding video and I had a couple of questions.
Firstly, I want to have the subjects speak on how they met (and other dialogue like that). I do not want the whole dialogue to be just on the couple. I’d like to shoot some cutaways that I can insert in between the dialogue. My issue now is how do I keep the audio in sync with the subjects speaking when it comes back to their faces?
Also is it advisable to use the 5 point shoot when doing a video interview that involves audio?
no. you don't want to do the 5-shots when you collect sound bites (beware of interviews). The purpose of the 5 shots is to force you to shoot sequences. So shoot lots of sequences and lots of events and you;ll get a good film. Imagine what you want the film to look like before you go and storyboard out an idea movie.
