Thread : Adobe Premiere Elements 8 Vs Pinnacle Studio Ultimate

Looking for a bit of advice on this. I bought Premiere thinking that it was way better than anything free that was out there to edit videos. The last live lecture I watched from NYVS said that Vegas or Pinnacle were far superior for PCs. The price for Pinnacle was less than $200, far less than $600 for Vegas so I downloaded the trial and started playing around with it. I am not seeing much of a difference between Pinnacle and Premiere as far as editing ability or options. I know I don't have much experience with Pinnacle compared to Premiere... so my question is this...
Is there any point in buying Pinnacle? Does it do something way better than Premiere that I don/t know about?
"I can't see the difference, can you see the difference?"
Hi Broke. Did you decide on a software? If not, I would suggest trying Sony Vegas Platium Suite 10. It's only $109.00 or something like that. You can try it for free for 30 days. I think Vegas is an awesome program. I have also heard that Lightworks is good and it's totally free but I have never tried it.
If Premiere does what you need it and want it to do, then you should stick with that. All three programs are similar enough that it comes down to user preference in the end. Save your money and invest in a good microphone (or other such thing) instead!
