Overview

Enter a video in the Text-To-Give Video Contest by January 31 for the chance to share the excitement of S.L.E. Lupus Foundation’s event series in 2012 — good food, good friends, good cause. Enter to win in just five easy steps!

1. Create a video 1 minute in length or less urging your audience to text LUPUS to the number 50555. Video should communicate that texting LUPUS to 50555 means a one-time charge of $10 will be added to the texter’s phone bill directly to aid lupus research. Video must include the message (in writing) “Text LUPUS to 50555 to donate $10 to lupus research.”
2. Upload it onto YouTube.com by creating a free account for yourself. Title the video “Life Without Lupus Text-To-Give Video Contest entry.” All entries must be uploaded by January 31, 2012.
3. In the description section of the video, copy and paste the following: “$10.00 donation to Lupus Research Institute. Charges will appear on your wireless bill, or be deducted from your prepaid balance. All purchases must be authorized by account holder. Message and Data Rates May Apply. Text STOP to 50555 to STOP. Text HELP to 50555 for HELP. Full Terms: www.mGive.org/T.”
4. Send an email to Kristen Teesdale at kteesdale@lupusny.org with your name, email, phone number, address and a link to your video.
5. View and vote on finalist videos as they are posted to S.L.E. Lupus Foundation’s Facebook page.
