2. Who are the NYVS Instructors?
The main instructor is Professor Michael Rosenblum. Professor Rosenblum taught one of the most popular courses in NYU's film school for years. He has lectured all over the world and has taught thousands of people to use video. His training has been used at places like the BBC, Oxygen, Al Gore's Current TV, Time Warner's NY1, and much more. He has produced hundreds of hours of television programming, and his students have gone on to use video in countless professions. In addition to Michael Rosenblum, the NYVS has numerous other expert instructors who will teach you how to best use video in countless ways. NYVS Instructors have worked with notable networks including: Current TV, Travel Channel, PBS, CBS, BBC, New York Times Television, Discovery Channel and National Geographic.

3. What are the NYVS Courses like?
NYVS allows users to take instructional video classes online to achieve technical proficiency in shooting and editing and to develop the ability to tell great stories to engage viewers. Moderated by a team of trained video professionals, novices can learn the basic principles of video production in Video Story Telling, intermediate users can take courses such as Tape vs. Tapeless Consumer and advanced videographers can learn How to Make a Music Video. Our courses have been developed over the past few decades, and have been used to successfully teach thousands of people how to use video in their lives. 4. How many courses can I take?
With a Plus Membership you will have unlimited access to all of the NYVS Courses. You are welcome to take as many courses as you would like and take them at your own pace. What's even better is that you can do this all from the comfort of your home.

5. How does the 7-day Free Trial work?
NYVS offers a 7-day Free Trial. During this time you will have access to all course content and site functionality. You will not be charged during your Free Trial period and can cancel at anytime. Should you choose to maintain your NYVS membership, you will be billed starting on Day 8, when your trial expires.

6. Why do you need my credit card for a Free Trial?
The free trial allows you to get to know NYVS better. However, we limit one free trial per person. A valid credit card helps us determine who is eligible for the Free Trial. If you decide to stay with NYVS, the credit card that you have provided will be billed to continue your membership without interruption.

7. Will my Plus Subscription be auto renewed?
Yes, your Plus Subscription will be auto renewed each month or year depending on the type of subscription you have selected. If you have selected a yearly subscription, you will be billed the same amount on the same day every year. For example if your subscription started on Dec 2 2010, your subscription will be auto-renewed and you will be billed again on Dec 2 2011.

8. How can I upgrade my Basic Membership?
You can upgrade your Basic Membership to a Plus Membership at anytime. To upgrade, go to your profile page and click on the Upgrade Subscription button near the bottom of the page.

9. How can I update my NYVS communication preferences?
You can update your communication preferences at anytime. To update your preferences go to your profile page and edit your preference for NYVS News and communications under your Account Details.

10. How can I cancel my Plus Subscription?
You can cancel your Plus Subscription at anytime. To cancel, go your profile page. Near the bottom of the page you can either choose to cancel your subscription or deactivate your account. There are no cancellation fees; however, there are no refunds for partial months.

11. What is the difference between Cancel Subscription and Deactivate Account?
Cancel Subscription will downgrade your membership from a Plus Member to a Basic Membership and you will no longer be charged for your Plus Membership. As a Basic Member, you will have limited access to courses and site functionality. However, you will continue to receive valuable news and events and can access the site to see the NYVS Blogs and Videos. Deactivate Account will end your membership with NYVS.
