Butterfly
This is a video of a butterfly. It captures the insect as it flaps its wings hovering around a flower. I used a Canon digital camera to take this video, and had to creep up on the butterfly so that I didn't scare it.

I shoot video for my church and this one I got the whole family involved. My concept for an entertainment production company is to have veterans and/or their family members produce projects together. This was sort of a test run of that idea. Shoot w/my Canon HF100 on cam mic, no additional lighting.

Someone Save My Life
This is a music video shot by my son using our Canon HF100. My son is a film student at CUNY Hunter in NYC. I think I've taught him more than the school has, but he's only in his 1st year. Though I spent 20 years in the Corps, the influence my son has felt has been for filmmaking and not the military, though I hope to merge the two.

Stormy Night In Downtown St Louis - Spring 2010
A few tornado watches and warnings could not keep me from filming the beautiful rain and light show outside. It was just beautiful. Shot with the Canon GL2 on SunPak 7575 Tripod- Enjoy! Music by: John Coletrane "My favorite things".

A little vid me and the kids shot a while back that I thought I would upload after seeing Charlie Parson's vid with his kids. We had a lot of fun making this, used the old camera though, not the Hi Def Canon. The last scene is the funniest thanks to a great sound effect. Music

I'm starting my veteran centric media company by making commercials for some veteran business owner friends of mine. This is the 2nd one. Edited w/Pinnacle Studio 14, shot w/Canon HF100 camcorder. No additional lighting, used on camera mic. Purposely going for one shot set up.

A and T Barbershop in Avant Garde Style
I made a commercial for my friend's barbershop. We have an odd sense of humor, as you will see. I've tried to tell more of a story rather than just show Aaron cutting hair. I've used more cuts rather than just my normal one shot style. Shot on my Canon HF100, edited w/my HP i7 using Pinnacle HD Studio 14 and featuring royalty free music by Backtraxx.

Good In The Hood - Thanksgiving Recap

A short recap I shot and edited for my church covering an annual Thanksgiving banquet we do for our community in the San Francisco Bay Area. The video was shot with a canon HDSLR with vintage lenses (Helios 44m, Minolta 50mm Prime, Vivitar 70-210) and the Tokina 11-16. The background instrumental music is from coldplay (The scientist). The mic I used was a Rode Video mic directly into the camera. It would have been better for me to use a lav for cleaner audio.
