This was my first attempt at being a VJ. A friend edited on his Mac using FCE. I think it turned out pretty well. We just asked the question and let people answer honestly.

 Down in the seedy underbelly of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan.   In the video, Dunn says it's his first time going TAD, which is tempory assigned duty.  Most junior sailors have TAD requirements to fulfill when they get assigned to ships.  I wanted to do something that was more funny and less "newsy" for our ship's "Hellcat news."

We make a lot of these type of spots for the ship, for things like safety, cleanliness and general info. This is the type of stuff I really enjoy making, just kind of goofy and wacky.

One of many um...interesting spots I made when I was stationed on Diego Garcia, a tiny island in the middle of nowhere. It was a good place to experiment with a lot of stuff on Avid, messing with the different effects and stuff. They were really supportive in letting us in the media department do pretty much what ever we wanted in these things, so I was able to experiment and learn alot.

Scary Walk with Honey
Vlog 3 doesn't show off my camera skills but I tried to use the 'best shot' method that Micheal talks about in the beginning to get the viewer to want to watch the whole thing - BTW I was sitting to capture Honey playing when this happened and didn't think about the camera in the moment.
