About this video
My first video testimony for my church. I filmed and edited the piece while our pastor conducted the interview off camera. I took forty minutes of video and scaled it down to three. Great story and character. Really nicely paced and good choice of stills and music. The music audio mix is a bit too loud during your character's interview and competes with her (this gets better as the piece goes along). Your character is almost in profile, so we miss a lot. She should be looking more toward the camera (almost, but not quite, into the camera). To accomplish this, simply place yourself behind the camera and ask her to talk to you. Her story will be much more powerful this way. Also, pay attention to your interview composition. The shot is quite wide and your character is filling maybe a 5th of the screen (the composition is much better at 2:05...Check out our Video Composition lesson.). Not sure that the choice to put her in black and white quite works, but if you choose to go this way, be consistent. Right now it goes back and forth from black and white to color to black and white.
