About this video
A one minute video of a Frenchmen named Pascal who basically has had only one job in his life, that of a factory worker in small-town Quebec, and the pride that comes from doing a job well done. (1st version only as I still have yet to put in the sub-titles).
I love the concept of small vignettes about ordinary people and the jobs they do. A bit like a photo essay, I think this concept could make a fascinating series of short videos. I like the way you lead the audio of the factory under the opening graphic but I think you should start with a close-up of Pascal's hands and then cut to the close up of his face and then to the wide shot. You have some lovely shots (I think the best open is a close-up of the shot you have at 00':48") but you need to hold the camera completely still as you have a tendency to "drift". Where Pascal introduces himself I can just about understand what he's saying but the background noise is so loud it's hard to understand. It would be better for you to tell the story and then for Pascal's sound-bites you need to take him somewhere quiet to record.
