A viral video produced by my good friend David Sinclair whereby we won a UK Competition and actually changed the name of our town for a day. Road signs and everything! I actually had an acting part in this (as the young corrupt mayor) rather than filmed it (as all credit to Dave) - However, this is what got me into film-making.

Clever. I noticed and enjoyed the effects (sepia, vignetting, credits) especially. Probably, in fact, the container was more satisfying than the actual content/acting/story. Not a ringing endorsement I realize, despite the video's widespread viewing. I mostly agree w the consensus of the NYVS folks who rated the piece although, as I've indicated, the overall effect was, oddly, less satisfying than the story-shooting-etc. categories evaluations of NYVS would suggest. Which surprises me; it'd be interesting to know if others were somehow dissatisfied w the result, too, and why... 2 :
