About this video

My entry into the NYTF/Sony Original Series Contest.  I love riding and am looking to build my own motorcycle.  There are approximately 7-8 million riders in the USA and the only show is American Choppers, which really isn't about riding or even the motorcycles.  Also, I like sportbikes and that's the most common style of motorcycle.  So I think this concept has some merit.  Any advice to make it work is really appreciated!

Hey Paradiso, I went back and re-edited the beginning trying for Michael's grab them in 3 seconds concept. Still working on it, I think instead of starting with the bike I'm just going to go with the twisting road on the bike opening which is the 2nd scene of the re-edit. "Let's Ride Re-edit" is on the main video page. Thanks for commenting! Helpful Not Helpful

First shot should have been a mean closeup on the motorcycle or something more exciting, like the meanest riding shot ! watch the training sessions! Helpful Not Helpful

Great video! That's brilliant ingenuity with the webbie cam! My friend just duct taped an iphone to her dashboard to get a rough take of an interior car scene. Please fill us in on how the helmet works out... Helpful Not Helpful

Thanks Grace! It was more difficult to shoot than I had thought it would be. Mounting the cam on the bike wouldn't work. I had designed a mount sticking up from a backpack, but I couldn't reach it. I ended up using a Sony Webbie HD cam hung around my neck with a 1 lb weight to keep it steady. Next I'm designing a helmet mount that will take a regular camcorder. 1 : Helpful Not Helpful
