Bill Gurley on the Changing Landscape in Video

A friend of mine named Brian Phillips shared this video with me.   This is from a recent presentation by Bill Gurley (Benchmark Capital) at the AlwaysOnHollywood Conferecne.    It's a very interesting presentation and is definitley worth a watch.   I wish I could have gotten the powerpoint to synch witih the video, but I couldn't figure out how to do that. The Making of a home movie about Bathing

ok, so I'm settling in to make my first edited movie.   I've been watching the Rosenblum Storytelling course, and I feel ready.   I'm going to start by making a movie of my son's nightly bath routine - his favorite time of the day.     My DP is going to be my wife.   She's also going to be in charge of talent negotiations.

Useful Tips for Surviving a Deadly Attack

I just had to add this to my vlog - it's that funny.    The assailant is so terrifying that it's hard not to pay attention to his useful tips.   I guess I should always walk near brick walls...just to be extra safe in case someone comes at me with a gun.

Interesting Demonstration of Power of 3D Imagery in Communication

People often times try to explain the roller coaster nature of real estate values over the long-term.    However, I think that looking at charts often doesn't really sink in for most folks.   This is a clever video that someone made using the video game Roller Coaster Tycoon to bring the ride to life.   Enjoy!

Mics on Tiny Casio Digital Cameras

I have to admit that every time I watch this video I'm amazed at how sensitive the mic is on my little Casio Exilim EX-S770. The quality of the wave sound that it is able to capture from 700 feet up is simply amazing. So much for needing an extension mic! *PS -- the whole purpose of this Vlog past was to attach a video about a beach house in Mexico, but that didn't seem to work.
