Brad This is interesting. I have just joined the board of an arts organization in NY and we're going to try and use video to promote up and coming artists, so I am particularly interested in this. It is nicely shot but I think you could do a lot more to ingratiate the viewer to the artist. This, I would do, through narration. This guy is a painter, he is not a story teller. That is your job. Tell me about him. When was he born. Where is his studio? how long has he been painting. What kind of stuff does he do? You know what I mean? Tell me a story. Engage me with the artist. The art speaks for itself, which it is supposed to do. I would also drop the music, I think, or at least limit it. It's a bit repetitive. More information. Make me like the guy. Make me interested in him. For years I bought art from up and coming artists. I used to visit their studios. The more I got to know them, the more of their work I bought, so I buy into the basic concept...

Brad....this is fantastic. You may want to play around with your title work though. It's the only thing that doesn't separate this video from any other video made with iMovie. I could instantly tell that you used the iMovie default font and outline. It takes more time and effort to play with the title editor, but it will take your production to the next level for sure. Your camera work and editing was phenomenal though. This guy now has a nice piece for his website or whatever he uses it for. 1 : Helpful Not Helpful
