OK Cass so as your first 5 shot exercise this is pretty good. Your main issue as you can see is that you're not holding the camera still so you have a lot of "drift" in your shots. Look at the edges of the frame when you watch this video and you'll see how much movement there is in a lot of the shots. Make sure you're feet are apart when you're filming and your elbows tucked in to your body when you're actually recording to help you stabilise the shot and remember you can use the world around you as your tripod to get the shots steady so lean against a wall or rest the camera on a flat surface. Also resist the temptation to micro-adjust the shot while you're filming like you do at 00:45" Also as you discovered with the shot at 00:31" you can't turn a video camera on it's side to film like you can a stills camera. Keep practicing!

Thank you for the feedback Lisa. I'm going to film another one today. Also thank you for the comment mrblueglance, I think Lisa was referring to me following the hand very slightly in the shot at 45 seconds instead of just finding the shot I want and just holding steady. Next one will be better. Helpful Not Helpful

Nice video! I am in the process of making a video right now and watching different videos to get advise and ideas. One question I have tho, Lisa what did you mean by micro-adjusting? Helpful Not Helpful
