Here is a short film I made for an Italian friend of mine this summer. It's to promote his mtb business - I'm curious to see what the critical eyes of nyvs will have to say!
If you go to BHPhotoVideo... well, here http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/651903-REG/Blue_YETI_Yeti_THX_Certified_USB_Condenser.html Excellent mic for one hundred bucks.
Where was this shot anyway?
Thanks for your comments. I used a GoPro Hero on the bike, and I'm looking at picking up another "sport" camera for the arsenal. Except, I think I'm better investing in a microphone: my narration is always too quiet and bad quality. Any suggestions on a professional yet inexpensive mic for recording?
Great video overall. Loved it. Great shots. Did you use a GoPro cam? I agree about the dark shots, better to not have them if that's all you've got, just more biking shots then. Also, the narration sounded tinny. Again, overall, I thought it was great.
Thanks Mike. I've discovered that biking and filming at the same time is a bit complicated. I agree that I'm often in the dark, but I was also out of breath! I have a number of other videos I can posy here (I've made about 20) but they are all promoting my company. Would it be alright if I post those as well?
Really nice job. Love the biking shots - leaving frame very nice! Watch the to-camera stuff. you see how the auto focus and light adjustment are drifting behind you. It's because you are a tad too close and the background is lighter than you. Since you can control talking to camera, take a moment to set up your shot and make sure your face is the best lit part of the shot.
