Nice choice of material and well done! A couple notes on continuity; Around 1:50 there is a staring contest that doesn’t actually end. When you cut back to the the 2-shot the guy is already looking down. Storyboarding exactly what is to be shot can help avoid little missing pieces like this. Then you don’t lose those very brief but very important moments in your story. Cutting to close-ups instead of from wide-shot to a different angle of a wide shot can also help with continuity. It can be difficult to get that exact match cutting a shot as someone walks or moves their arms. Cutting to different types of shots can help by avoiding the focus on the exact matching of movements. Thanks for making this! It was really fun to watch!

This was awesome, I was intrigued about the biscuits and the twist at the end, I really enjoyed that. I have a DSLR as well and the audio is not great, and I can not figure out what I need to do to make great sound on a limited budget but I like what you did. 1 : Helpful Not Helpful

Thanks a lot for you comment. I am very glad you liked the short video. :) To be honest one of my idea was to experiment with the audio exactly having the biscuit-wrapper sound, but as the original sound was recorded with the internal DSLR microphone I did not like the result very much (because of environmental noise as well) so I didn't take the risk. Also I tried to record only this sound later on post, but again - because I do not have good sound equipment - the result was poor again and I left it as it is now. :) Helpful Not Helpful

One of the funnest short videos I've seen recently. Understated drama that's well shot, well paced, well acted (in fact, with a little extra time on facial expressions you wouldn't even need the dialog labels). The title works well. One suggestion, you may want to experiment w different moods of music for the audio track. Maybe mix using a very few ambient sounds--the biscuit-wrapper sound, the chair being pulled out. Birds in the background. I wonder how it would be with these recordings interwoven with only percussion? Not being critical, only suggesting things you may already have considered. Bottom line, I like it very much. 1 : Helpful Not Helpful

Thanks :) For the question where did we shot it - it is a coffeehouse in a park in Sofia, Bulgaria. :) Helpful Not Helpful
