For more than 22 years Michael Rosenblum has been on the cutting edge of the digital ‘Video Journalist’ revolution. His work has included: The complete transitioning of The BBC's national network (UK) to a VJ-driven model, the conversion of The Voice of America, the United States Government’s broadcasting agency, (and the largest broadcaster in the world), from short wave radio to television broadcasting and webcasting using the "VJ" paradigm. He constructed NYT Television, a New York Times Company and the largest producer of non-fiction television in the US.

Michael Rosenblum has also designed, built and implemented VJ-driven news channels around the world, including Time/Warner’s New York 1, Associated Newspapers (UK) London based Channel, Young Broadcasting stations in the US, Switzerland’s largest commercial TV broadcaster, TeleZuri, as well as a host of smaller projects such as Eritrea's ERI-TV and Sri Lanka's SLBC.

So cool! What a commitment! I particularly liked the 1979... you looked like Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters. And it sort of took me back into my childhood a bit. Thank you. :) Helpful Not Helpful

@djgregallen I just watched that "Post-apocalyptic" video, fascinating! Getting the promo footage from the 50s or 60s was incredible and very eerie. I've seen some videos about Salvation Mountain, first time I've seen anything on Salton. Helpful Not Helpful

My sister and I just made an 'archival' historical video for our mother for her 80th birthday. Its amazing what is laying around when you start to look - and how great it all is when you put it together. 60 years slammed into 3 minutes. 1 : Helpful Not Helpful

I love that he shot his Chinon Super 8mm camera with a video camera. This was interesting, I've got a lot of video and some Super 8 through my life (though I did not say what year it was ever shot), but I this would be a great project for me to do and give to my kids. Helpful Not Helpful

Michael, if you are finding these on wimp.com you have got to watch "Post-apocalyptic California: The Accidental Sea by Ransom Riggs" it was posted yesterday. Incredible short documentary. Helpful Not Helpful
