About this video

Each Saturday we take our son to the town market to eat a herring.
This is a typical Dutch tradition, that you probably have to be grown up with.

I am really anctious for your feedback.
Should I leave out the bin- and stairs footage? Does it need additional subtitles to support the clip?

It's a lovely small story. I agree with Galaxy that the bin footage should go. You know what we say - don't shoot any inanimate objects. you see how it stops the piece. I just got an email from Stan van Englen at VPRO in The Netherland asking about content and contributors. I think you should send him this one. www.metropolistv.nl/en It's a new series VPRO is just starting.

I like the focus pulls and the story is interesting because it is foreign to me. I have yet to see (in my lifetime) a kid that age devour a chunk of herring like that and not spit it out and cry. It really demonstrates the differences between our cultures but at the same time... your video ALSO demonstrates the similarities. And yes... cut the bin and perhaps something to conclude the video better. Just my opinion and I am a complete amateur... :)

I like the story, the bin shot seriously needs to go tho, I would have only shot that if a fish was still alive and escaped the fishmonger in some way. Good transitions on this clip I would still like to here the people in the video speck even if I don't understand the language and for you to do some vocal narrations, Nice 1 bud
