About this video
After watching the iPhone 4 lessons I grabbed my iPhone and shot the following footage and ran it through iMovie. I didn't cut anything, just set it to 24 fps and added the title on my iMac. My daughter shot the opening clip and I shot the other two. This is my first video uploaded to the NYVS website, because I haven't received my Panasonic AG HMC40 yet, expecting delivery tomorrow.

Born in Brooklyn, grew up watching my Dad's 8mm home movies. Learned some from Dad and lost interest with the early video cameras. I have a renewed interest in video as I experience the immediacy of video to internet. I took part in an event yesterday involving over 4000 motorcycles and all I had was my iPhone. If I knew how to make better use of it I would have had some great shots. The Discovery Channel and local news stations were there. Their equipment was very minimal, hand held cameras, and no large production vans or satellite trucks. I would like to learn more about the opportunities and techniques that would enable a freelance videographer to become successful. Less »
