What a great piece! I really like the b-roll cutting in between shots of the director talking and how you kept his voice underneath it all. I probably would have made the guy beating the drums on the bucket my opening shot though but thats just me. Overall great story.

Monkeybrush, if you're looking for a color-correction app for your phone, check out this tutorial I recently posted using "Video Grade": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITtfmIEvUW8&list=UUecnegPE3qCGBxa3BVTDQkQ&index=1&feature=plcp AcousticAshley, I've experimented with a few different ways, trying to find the most compact way to work. I like the idea of using minimal equipment, so I can focus on storytelling, and so far, I've managed to narrow it down to two methods that work best for me. One way is to use my handheld camcorder with a mini external mic attached on top. And the other way is to use my iPhone for video and a digital recorder for sound. I then sync them up in After Effects. Syncing sound to video is super easy, and both items fit in my pocket. For my Singapore video, I recorded over 150 video clips and still had room for more! :) 1 :

So you record the sound separately and sync the sound? I have a Panasonic Lumix still camera and the footage is much better than my camcorder but there is no audio input. Damn I have no idea on colour correcting! More to learn!! :)
